Troulos beach is perfectly situated on the southern coast, named after the small dome-shaped island just offshore called "Troulonisi". It is a wide, sandy bay with shallow, calm waters, making it one of the top choices for families on Skiathos. The beach is beautifully framed by tall pine trees that provide natural shade and a wonderful aroma of the Mediterranean.
Traditional flavors right by the sea. Excellent fresh fish and classic Greek moussaka.

VIEW DETAILS →Troulos offers the perfect balance between peace and entertainment. The beach is well-organized with comfortable sunbeds, but you can always find an open spot on the sand. For adventure seekers, renting a motorboat is very popular here — you can explore nearby coves or even swim to the small island of Troulonisi. Troulos is also the starting point for the trail leading to the beautiful, wild Aselinos beach on the north side of the island.
Getting here is very easy using the island's bus service. Get off at **Bus Stop 20**. From there, a paved road leads you down to the beach in just a 2-minute walk. If you are driving, there is a public parking area near the beach entrance, although it can get busy during July and August.
If you want a quieter experience, head to the far right side of the beach (looking at the sea). Also, Troulos is a great base for hikers; the trail to Mandraki and Elias beaches starts near here and offers some of the most stunning views of the Aegean forest meeting the sea.
Emergency Info: Taxi rank is available near Bus Stop 20. There is a pharmacy and a mini-market within 5 minutes of the beach for any urgent needs.
