As a protected nature area, Mandraki Elias maintains its peaceful vibe with limited commercial development. There is only one traditional option right on the shore:

The crystal-clear water and rocky edges of the bay offer some of the best snorkeling on the island. The waters are so pristine that fish are known to swim right up to you.

Since the beach is right next to Mandraki (Xerxes) and Agistros beach, renting a kayak or paddleboard from nearby Koukounaries allows you to paddle over and explore these hidden coastlines at your own pace.

The sand here is fine and golden, and the beach feels remarkably spacious. However, because it faces North-West, it can get windswept when the Meltemi or North winds blow. It’s best visited on calm days.

How to Get There
Take the main island bus to Stop 23. From there, follow the clearly marked dirt track path through the stunning pine forest. The walk is flat, easy, and takes about 20-30 minutes. Alternatively, it is accessible by car or quad bike via the same dirt road, and there is plenty of parking space right behind the trees.

Because Super Paradise Tavern operates without card terminals due to the remote forest location, always bring cash money for your food, drinks, and sunbeds. Also, try to arrive around 10:30 AM to catch the quietest part of the day and secure a sunbed right by the shore.
