Lalaria faces directly north. If the wind is blowing from the North (Meltemi wind), the waves become extremely high and dangerous, and boats **will cancel all trips** to the beach. Always check the wind forecast before planning your day. For the ultimate peaceful experience, hire a private boat and arrive by 08:30 AM to enjoy the beach completely alone before the massive commercial tour boats show up at 11:00 AM.
