How to Reach
Accessibility is perfect. Take the island bus to the very last stop, **Bus Stop 26**. A wide, flat path leads you through the pines to the shore in just 2 minutes. For those driving, there is ample public parking available near the entrance.

Koukounaries can get very crowded during peak season. If you want a front-row sunbed, try to arrive before 10:00 AM. Also, the beach is east-facing, meaning it gets beautiful morning light and natural shade from the trees earlier in the afternoon than other beaches.
