Kolios has a distinctly 'family-friendly' and warm atmosphere. The water here remains shallow for quite a distance, making it one of the safest spots for children. For those looking for a bit of exploration, you can rent a motorboat here and visit the nearby island cove of Arkos. Additionally, the beach is connected to neighboring Vromolimnos by a beautiful trail, so you can enjoy a gentle walk through the pine forest.
How to Reach
Reaching Kolios is very simple. If you are taking the bus, you can get off at either **Stop 13** or **Stop 14**. Both stops lead to the beach, but Stop 13 is generally considered the main entrance. The walk is flat and takes less than 5 minutes from the main road.

Kolios is often less crowded than its famous neighbor Vromolimnos. If you stay until late afternoon, the bay becomes incredibly peaceful and the water reflects the golden sunset perfectly. It's a great spot for an "apertivo" on the sand before heading back to town.
Emergency Info: Taxis are frequent at the main road junction. There is a well-stocked supermarket at Stop 13 for any urgent supplies or sunblock.
